Virgin Galactic Supersonic Jet

Renderings of Virgin Galactic Supersonic Jet has been released with the aim of resurrecting commercial supersonic air travel.  The proposed jet will fly at Mach 3 or three times the speed of sound and carry between nine and nineteen passengers.  The company has partnered with NASA to develop the airframe and Rolls Royce to develop the engine that will allow the aircraft to fly at supersonic speeds with minimal fuel consumption.
