Two Rare Rolex Paul Newman Daytonas Will Auction This Fall For an Estimated Quarter Million a Piece
Paul Newman Daytonas are some of the most sought-after watches amongst vintage watch collectors and now you can own a pair of these ultra-rare 1960’s Rolex Paul Newman Daytonas, headed for auction this fall.
The iconic pair of Daytonas will be auctioned this October in New York and Paris. The pair of rare Daytonas auction will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Rolex Daytona. The first Daytona, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona “Paul Newman” Ref. 6239 from 1965, will hit the auction block on October 12th in New York for the Fine Watches Sale event and is expected to fetch up to a quarter million dollars.
The second Daytona Paul Newman Ref. 6241 from 1968 will be auctioned at Bonhams’ Fine Watches and Chronographs auction on October 18th and is also expected to fetch a handsome quarter million dollars.
For the vintage watch collector interested in owning these watches, the Bonhams’ Fine Watches auction will take place in New York at 12 pm EST on Thursday October 12th and the Fine Watches and Chronographs auction will take place in Paris on Wednesday, October 18th at 8 am EST.
