Toyota’s Baby Lunar Cruiser is Blend Between a Lunar Lander and the FJ40 Land Cruiser
Toyota is pushing the envelope of off-road vehicles with the new Baby Lunar Cruiser. The BLC is a concept inspired by a real Lunar Lander vehicle being developed by the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Toyota. It blends design cues from the Lunar lander with the original FJ40 Land Cruiser. The concept features in-wheel motors, an expansive glass canopy with augmented reality dashboard displays, dual joystick controls and airless tires that give the vehicle unparralled maneuverability.
The BLC boasts exceptional outward visibility thanks to its protruding glass canopy and a panoramic augmened reality dashboard display. Design features include a TOYOTA scripted front grille complete with a full array of cameras and sensors and a split tailgate configuration in the rear. Interior features highly adjustable spaceframe seats and M.O.L.L.E panels that give the inteior the flexiblity to adapt to any kind of adventure. The BLC is truly a one of kind off-road vehicle built to conquer any environment on earth.
