The Bombardier EcoJet is a Stealthy Private Jet With a Blended Wing Fuselage Design That Cuts Emissions by 50%

Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier recently announced that its groundbreaking EcoJet blended-wing private jet concept is moving closer to an actual production aircraft after a prototype completed the first phase of flight testing. The aircraft, if it enters production will be the first-of-its-kind private jet with a blended-wing fusealage design that cuts emissions by up to 50% compared to traditional business jets.

The prototype model that completed the first phase of testing was only 7% of the size of the full-scale aircraft. The company plans to proceed to phase 2 testing with a new model prototype that will be twice the size of the original prototype.
