The New BMW X5 Protection VR6 is Built For Those Seeking Security While On the Road

The recent trend towards armored vehicles has been increasing with the advent of the Rezvani Vengeance and others. Now traditional automakers like BMW are entering the fray with an armored version of the X5 SUV.

The new BMW X5 Protection VR6 Armored SUV protects its occupants from small arms fire, grenades and explosives. The armored X5 is designed for clients seeking a luxury SUV with all the bells and whistles of German engineering and a little extra protection in an increasingly violent world.

The X5 armored SUV sets itself apart from the traditional BMW X5 with subtle styling differences in the headlights and grille. It’s powered by a 530 hp V8 hybrid engine and being an armored car, it comes in all-wheel drive with upgraded suspension to tackle any terrain.
