The Mukaab is a Cube-Shaped Megacity to Be Built in the Saudi Capital Riyadh
As part of the Murabba mega project, plans are in motion to construct a large city-within-a-city in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, replete with racetracks for flying cars and immersive experiences that resemble trips to other planets or universes where people tower over conventionally sized structures.
The Mukaab, an expansive mega-project that takes its name from the Arabic word for “cube,” will serve as the focal point of the New Murabba project, which promises to double the size of the capital city by housing an estimated 350,000 people on 4,695 acres.
The 1,312-foot-tall Mukaab will include a variety of buildings, including homes, hotels, offices, open-air parks, and pathways. The immersive, futuristic sensations of the area will be created through indoor holographic projections, such as the giant-sized humans in the aforementioned image.
