The 2023 Toyota 4-Runner 40th Anniversary Edition Celebrates 40 Years of Production of the Legendary 4-Runner
The legendary Toyota 4-Runner enters its 40th year of production with the release of the 2023 Toyota 4-Runner 40th Anniversary Edition. The company plans to create 4,040 of the special anniversary edition model for the U.S. market. While sales of 4-Runners have been increasing at a sloths pace over the last few years, the truck has a dedicated following among a large segment of the U.S. population who desire a reliable SUV that is confident both on the pavement and on the trail.

The new 2023 anniversary edition will be based on the well known SR5 model and will be available in three colors: White, Midnight Black Metallic and Barcelona Red Metallic. It will differentiate itself from other 4-Runners with the distinctive bronze-colored 17-inch alloy wheels, a body-color matching Toyota heritage grill and a bronze-covered 40th anniversary exterior tailgate badge.

Inside, you’ll find bronze stitching and 40th Anniversary logos on the headrests, dashboard, and floormats. In addition, it will have exclusive badging on the center console, a bronze colored cross-stitch shift knob and topping it off is a standard power moonroof.
