That said, the idea is very good when it comes to safety because area illumination around tents can keep wild animals at bay and provide a way for others to know your camping area. It can also help you locate your tent in the dark in the event you wander off into the woods and alert campers to the present of tent guy lines. In the event of an emergency, you can switch the LED lights to strobe mode to attract attention to your camp area or to locate your tent over longer distances in the backcountry. Each light is powered by 1 AAA conventional battery (not included) encased in water-resistant TPE housing and provides up to 10-hours of continuous light enough to illuminate your tent from dusk to dawn, or up to 24 hours of light in the strobe mode. Constructed from durable lightweight 6000-series aluminum, these stakes are guaranteed to last a lifetime outdoors.
