Polestar 5 Electric 4-door GT Prototype is Set to Revolutionize the Electric Car Market

Polestar 5 is a striking electric 4-door GT concept car that has been granted the go-ahead for manufacturing and will go on sale sometime in 2024. This cutting-edge four-door hatchback will compete against the Mercedes-Benz EQS, Tesla Model S, Porsche Taycan, and Lucid Air.

The Polestar 5 will have two electric motors producing up to 884 horsepower and a driving range up to 300 miles. It will be completely green with environmentally friendly materials. The company aspires to create a new plant in China to produce the Polestar 5 that will be completely carbon neutral.

When the Polestar 5 finally hits the market in 2024, it will represent an entirely new model for the budding Polestar company. The vehicle will feature a bonded-aluminum foundation that will maximize weight and rigidity. Pricing is still unknown, but electric drivetrains and opulent interiors aren’t going to be cheap and we would bet on this car costing anywhere in the six figures.
