Mercedes-Benz X Moncler Project Mondo G Concept Looks Like a Moon Rover Rather Than a G-Class SUV

Mercedes-Benz, the German automaker is known for its extensive line of luxury automobiles and SUV’s. Now the company is venturing into territory that is more in line with its motto of “expect the unexpected”.

The Mercedes-Benz X Moncler Project Mondo G Concept is a collaboration project with French design house Moncler. What exactly is this contraption called Project Mondo? Well, it’s supposed to be a G-Class SUV decked out with Monclers signature puffer jacket.

The concept utilizes the same G-Class shape with massive balloon tires with a puffer jacket pattern. The puffer jacket pattern continues onto the bed cover with an enormous zipper down the centerline. The Mondo G is just a concept recently unveiled at the London 2023 Fashion week. At present, there are no indications it will become a production model.
