Foldable Solar Cells
When you think of solar cells you picture a heavy rectangular solar panel on your rooftop. These Foldable Solar Cells is changing that perception with solar cells that can literally bend in half without breaking. Engineers at Pusan National University in Korea pioneered this prototype solar cells that is fully flexible and foldable. The technology will pave the way for solar cells to be built-into material that contorts and with irregular shapes making it easier to harness solar energy on any surface.
