The New Dodge Ram 1500 REV All-Electric Pickup Truck Joins the Electric Pickup Segment
With auto manufacturers moving away from gas-powered vehicles to electric vehicles, Dodge is keeping up with the trend by transforming its well-known and best-selling Ram pickup truck into the new Ram 1500 REV. Set to go on sale in 2024, the all-electric Ram 1500 REV pickup will compete with electric competitors from Ford and Chevrolet.
Dodge aims to set the Ram 1500 REV apart from its competitors with a truck that has longer range, greater towing capacity and increased payload. The electric Ram will feature an 800-volt system with 150 kW fast charging. Other systems will include an EV trip energy monitor, a charge station locator, preconditioning, and numerous drive modes.
The Ram 1500 REV will have a range of up to 500 miles, that is 200 miles more than its closest competitor, the Ford F-150 Lighting and 150 miles more range than the GMC Hummer EV.
