Bentley’s EXP 100 GT EV Concept Will be a 1400bhp Supercar that Will Go from 0-60mph in Only 1.5 Seconds
Bentley’s plans to unveil the new EXP 100 GT concept, its first-ever electric car sometime over the next few years. It will mark the company’s official entry into the global electric car market and the beginning of electric cars that perform more like supercars.
Considering the fact that current Bentley gas-engine twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W12 produces 650hp and 664-lb-ft of torque, the new Bentley EV will have as much as 1400hp and will be able to accelerate from 0-60mph in less than 1.5 seconds. That amount of power and speed is undoubtedly supercar territory for this electric car.
If this is too powerful for some buyers, Bentley will offer the ability to modulate the performance based on the owner’s preferences. Bentley is expected to deliver its first-ever electric car to the global market sometime in 2025.
