Aras Kazar’s 427-Foot Wakinyan Superyacht Concept is Inspired by Birds Floating on Water
Aras Kazar has done it again with his new yacht concept named afer the Lakota word for “thunder” Wakíŋyaŋ (or Wakinyan). This 427-foot superyacht concept unveiled last thursday is meant to emulate a bird floating on the water.
If you are yacht enthusiast you may remember Kazar’s previous design, the NOY Superyacht which was meant to be a yacht concept inspired by Noah’s Ark. The Wakinyan is legendary in its design with sleek edges and sharp lines that come together to create a visually stunning vessel.
The vessel will be made from aluminum and its main hull will be equipped with expansive panels and tempered glass. The expanisve panels and tempered glass will make sure the interior of the yacht is only bathed with natural light and provide its occupants with panoramic views of the ocean environment.
The vessel will accomodate up to 12 passengers in five staterooms and an expansive owner’s suite. There will be a supersized pool on the aft deck with sunbeds and a large indoor spa for a more private experience. The vessel will have an all-electric propulsion system and will utilize hydrofoil technology to acheive its maxium speed of 32 knots.
