TAG Heuer’s $25,000 Mario Cart Tourbillon is a Watch Inspired by the Iconic Super Mario Character

TAG Heuer, the Swiss watchmaker collaborated with Nintendo in 2021 to create the first Super Mario Smartwatch. The watch was such a hit amongst fans that it sold out quite quickly leaving many desiring to have one of their own. Now TAG Heuer has fulfilled the dreams of watch collectors worldwide with the release of two new mechanical Super Mario watches; the TAG Heuer Formula 1 X Mario Kart and the Limited Edition Chronograph.

These two new watches are the second installment of the TAG X and is expected to be sold out just as fast as the previous installment. Both watches features references to the iconic Nintendo character and for TAG fans that are into the racing the Formula 1 X Mario will be much desired.

Nintendo’s input are clearly evident in the design of both watches from the coloring which uses plenty of colors familiar to Super Mario Cart players. A large red ‘M’ decorates the crown and a case back engraved with a Mario Cart motif. Only 3,000 units of the Limited Edition Chronograph will be made with the watch featuring references to the famous Formula One franchise. In addition, the black anthracite dial features a checkered pattern that is inspired by racing flags with Mario sitting on the sub-dial.

Both watches will be released this month with the Standard Chronograph fetching a price of $4,300 and the Tourbillon Chronograph, a jaw dropping $25,600.
