The 2022 Kia EV6 GT-Line is the Company’s First From The Ground Up Produced EV
The 2022 Kia EV6 is a compact crossover and the first electric car Kia has produced from scratch. In contrast to the Niro EV (which is an electrified version of the Niro hybrid), the EV6 benefits from having been created as an EV from the start. Kia designed the EV6 with an unusually streamlined design and large seats despite the car’s overall proportions. Since the vehicle didn’t need an engine or other conventional components, Kia was at liberty to design the exterior and interior to maximize usage of the vehicle’s proportions.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the EV6 share a lot of their EV technology below. The EV6 is compatible with the most recent, lightning-fast public DC fast-charging stations, just like the Ioniq 5. According to Kia, while utilizing a 350-kW charger under ideal circumstances, you can recharge 70 miles in under five minutes and charge your battery from 10% to 80% capacity in under 18 minutes. These 350-kW units are sadly quite uncommon. However, you can still think of the EV6 as being future-proofed to benefit from more potent fast charging when it becomes available in the upcoming years.

The EV6 is a car that is very appealing to drive. Acceleration is quick and nimble enough to keep you firmly planted in your seat in the all-rear and all-wheel-drive configurations. The comfortable smooth ride quality would appeal to passengers as well. Even significant potholes don’t cause the cabin to shake sharply, but you’ll still feel a lot of little bumps and seams in the road.

Although the EV6’s interior isn’t as futuristic as some other Electric Vehicles on the market, it’s nevertheless aesthetically appealing and practical. The broad digital displays above the dashboard offer a stylish flare reminiscent of some Mercedes and BMW automobiles and are simple to read at a glance.
