Czinger 21C Hypercar is The World’s First 3-D Printed Hypercar using AI
With specs such as 1,250 hp, 0 to 62 mph in 1.9 seconds and a top speed of 253 mph, the new Czinger 21C Hypercar is a $2 million dollar sports car that is more akin to a fighter plane. This impressive tandem-seat, carbon-fiber body hypercar recently blew away the McLaren P1’s production-car track record at Circuit of the Americas by six seconds.
What sets this car apart is the fact that it is the first production hypercar to be 3-D printed. It’s main structural elements are designed by Czinger’s proprietary AI software and then 3-D printed. The 3-D printed components were assembled together by a fixture-less assembly system created by Czinger’s founder Kevin Czinger and his son Lukas. Parts were later bonded together by an adhesive created by the polymer division in under two seconds.
