Prodrive Racing Simulator is a Work of Modern Art and Technology
While you may play racing simulation games on a conventional gaming PC or a console system, a sim racing rig offers a more realistic experience. If you want to take the leap into more realistic gaming, go to UK-based motorsports Prodrive to provide you that experience. The company will take your gaming to the next level with the Prodrive Racing Simulator.
According to the release, Prodrive wants your home to seem wealthy with their Racing Simulator, hence why it was designed with sleek corners to complement your home decor. The company compares it to a grand piano that is constantly present but that you only infrequently play, as opposed to something that is hidden away when not in use.
With the seat, screen, steering wheel, and pedals all fitting inside the sculpted carbon monocoque housing that appears to be “floating” inside the birch canopy, it definitely looks like a world class piece of artwork than a gaming simulator. The housing was created by CALLUM, a design firm whose exterior styling projects include the Aston Martin DB7.
The Prodrive Racing Simulator PC has an Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card with 12GB of VRAM and 16GB of RAM. It comes with a 49-inch 5K curved AOC display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The Precision SIM LM-PRO steering wheel contains 12 buttons, five rotary dials, and carbon fiber paddles to simulate a race vehicle.
A grand piano-like appearance in design comes with a price tag that is comparable. The cost of the Prodrive Racing Simulator is GBP39000 ($47,453). If you’re in the UK, you can even test it out before you buy it at Prodrive Banbury headquarters.
