Fisker Teases Its All New $30k PEAR Electric Car

Fisker gave a glimpse of its upcoming $30k PEAR (Personal Electric Automotive Solution) electric car. The vehicle will be a compact crossover with decent range numbers and will feature an enormous greenhouse on the roof similar to the Tesla Model X.

The company released a single image showing the top-view of the vehicle, so very little is known about the design of the body and the interior. From the single image we can conclude that the vehicle will have a low-set beltline, side windows and a massive wrap-around windscreen extending to the greenhouse on the roof.

The company announced that it has amassed over 3,200 reservations so far for the new PEAR. The PEAR follows upon Fisker’s other electric car debut the Ocean and is smaller and sportier than the Ocean and will be available in a single motor (RWD) or a dual-motor (AWD) variants with four optional packages. PEAR will have two battery options that will deliver 310 mile range on a single charge.
