Supersonic Air Force One
Looks like Air Force One will be getting a supersonic upgrade. Last September, it was revealed that a California start-up was collaborating with the US Air Force on the creation of a supersonic plane that could replace Air Force One. After impressing the military with its design for a low-boom supersonic Mach 1.8 twinjet, Exosonic was awarded a contract by the Presidential and Executive Airlift Directorate. Supersonic Air Force One will carry 31-passengers and will be a derivative of Exosonic’s 70-passenger commercial concept, it will feature luxury leather amenities, oak, quartz filling, private suite for work and rest and an executive suite fit for a president.
