Infiniti’s QX80 SUV Gets a Radical Makeover For 2025
Infiniti is positioning the new QX80 SUV to compete with the top models in the large luxury SUV market segment. The QX80 gets a radical makeover for 2025 with increased length and width than previous model years. The 120-inch wheelbase remains the same on the new 2025 QX80.
Infiniti swapped the engines of the QX80 by installing a 500-hp twin-turbo V6 powerplant that replaces the 5.6-liter V8 common to previous models. The new powerplant remains mated to a 9-speed transmission. The trim levels remain the same with Pure, Luxe, Sensory and Autograph models available in the 2025 QX80. The Chassis remains body-on-frame as previous models but more reinforced with active dampers and adjustable air springs.
Interior wise, the Autograph trim features open-pore wood and hand-stitched leather upholstery. A 600-watt Klipsch audio system with 14 speakers tops out the lower trims with a 24-speaker 1200-watt audio system available in higher trim levels. The new QX80 will be available at dealerships in North America in the Summer of 2024.
