The Wajer 44 Dayboat is a Luxury Yacht Built for Fun and Entertainment on the Water
Amsterdam-based yacht builder, Wajer Yachts is filling the gap between its smaller and larger lineup of luxury yachts with the Wager 44 dayboat. The 43-foot dayboat has a roomier interior above and below deck than the Wajer 38.
At 43-foot long, it’s more compact than the Wajer 55. Below deck, the interior is fitted with a double bed that converts to a sitting area with a collapsible dining table, a fully equipped bathroom, pantry, and sink. The pantry is equipped with a refrigerator, a sink with hot and cold water, a coffee machine, and an ice machine. The Wajer 44 is a conveniently comfortable dayboat that is suitable for overnight stays.
Above deck, there is plenty of space for lounging and basking in the sun with excellent 360-degree views of the ocean. In addition, a swing-over anchor arm retracts neatly into the anchor hatch, and the cleats are seamlessly incorporated into the rub rail for that characteristically sleek and high-quality appearance common to Wajer yachts.
At the rear, the Wajer 44 is powered by Volvo IPS 650 engines that give it a top speed of 40 knots and cruising speed of 26 knots. Engine information, navigation and other essential information is displayed on three large Garmin screens along with a companion app that allows for remote operation.
The owner can use the app to connect to his Wajer 44 remotely to check anchor position, engine information and other vitals. Air conditioning, lowering and lifting of the hydraulically operated swimming ladder and more can all be done from the app. The new Wajer 44 will take to the waves this summer.
