Greek yacht builder Technohull has changed the vision of a yacht into something more resembling a speedboat. The company recently unveiled a new model that is different from what we have come to expect from the company over the last two decades of building yachts. The new vessel known as the Omega 48 is a 50-foot high-performance luxury yacht that can achieve incredible speeds.

More aptly a speedboat than a yacht, the Omega 48 is a sleek vessel with aerodynamic sharp aggressive lines with a slightly military appeal. Meaning at first glance it looks like a boat typically used by special forces than a luxury yacht. However, beneath its aggressive appeal lies a vessel that is outfitted with the same high-end amenities that are common to luxury yachts.

Omega 48 is designed using Technohull signature Dynastream hull, a special hull design that features a deep V-shaped with ventilated steps that allows the vessel to pierce through waves at lightning speeds with maximum efficiency.

The V-shaped hull design also provides exceptional handling even in the roughest weather conditions. Not that you would have this vessel out on the water on a stormy day. However, if you find yourself in the middle of rough seas you can rest assured that Omega 48 is designed to handle it in strides.

The vessel comes with several propulsion options from a twin 600 hp outboard motors setup to five 450 hp outboard engines with several configurations in between so you can choose the right level of power and performance you desire.

The vessel is the first in its class that features a large deck space made possible by its 15.5 feet beam. Additionally, two rows of shock-absorbing seats make up the helm of the vessel. Electronics include a fully equipped console with on-board systems for navigation.
The aft deck comes fitted with a large island sunbed with further options for a couch with mini bar, a fully stocked wet bar or an extra couch and table. An included garage for water toys and gear makes up the rest of the aft deck. To top it off, Omega is equipped with a new hardtop and full glass windshield to protect you from the elements. Below deck, sliding doors open to a large cabin with an oversized double bed and shower all outfitted with high-end materials and elegant furnishings.

Omega 48 is a fully equipped yacht for those seeking a day or two on the water in a vessel that delivers high performance with luxury comforts. Technohull will begin taking order next year with deliveries expected to begin by Summer 2023.
