AeroMobil AM NEXT is a 4-Seater Version of the Original AM 4.0 The World’s First Production Flying Car
For centuries mankind has always dreamed of flying and with the invention of the Automobile came the desire for a flying car. AeroMobil is bringing this dream to reality with its flying car inspired by the mythical winged horse Pegasus. The company announced the second model of its revolutionary flying car, the 4-seater AM NEXT and follows on from the groundbreaking AM4.0, the world’s first 2-seater production luxury flying car.
Both the AM NEXT and the AM4.0 are an entirely new class of vehicles that combines a supercar with a light aircraft and promises to revolutionize the way we travel. The AM4.0 personal 2-seater luxury flying car will start deliveries in early 2024. The AM NEXT will be a business version that will launch in 2027 and is expected to drastically reduce travel time on regional routes between the range of 100-500 miles which takes too long to drive and too expensive to fly.
Unlike other Air Mobility solutions in development or currently on the books that require new facilities and certifications, AeroMobil flying car utilizes existing infrastructure. Both the AM4.0 and the AM NEXT can utilize up to 10,000 landing strips in the United States and falls under existing automotive and aviation regulations depending on state. Compared to eVTOL’s, the AM NEXT has a significantly greater flight range. The AM NEXT will have very few competitors besides a similar flying car concept from HT Aero a division of XPeng in China.
AeroMobil AM4.0 and the new AM NEXT is a culmination of decades of research and development with leading-edge automotive and aerospace design and engineering, advanced materials, luxury features, and impeccable styling, the AeroMobil does what no supercar or private jet can do. It can seamlessly transform from car to aircraft – from driving to flying – in under three minutes.
